I am working with a leading global manufacturer of power T&D equipment. As a result of exceptional growth, we are seeking a successful Field Service Engineer. This is a remarkable opportunity, in which, you will be responsible for executing installation, maintenance, repair, and/or troubleshooting support in the field, either independently or as part of a crew; and ensure procedures are adhered to accordance, with both manufactured products and other OEM instructions. The Field Service Engineer must demonstrate mastery level technical and leadership skills in the maintenance and servicing of T&D substation equipment that include GCB’s, GIS, & GMCB’s. You must have experience in servicing different manufacturer’s equipment. The Field Service Engineer executes projects safely and successfully on-site, while also increasing customer relations by working to develop additional business with the support of their manager. Remain up-to-date on new technologies and/or developments within the industry and recommend process improvements, and other ways to optimize and grow the field service team. You will be responsible for leading projects on-site, as well as, directing less experienced personnel, while transferring your knowledge to others to strengthen the overall business unit. This position is salaried (40 hours guaranteed) plus overtime and a daily per diem. This position may be based near Atlanta or remote, based anywhere in the US.
