I am seeking a proven Field Service Manager to join a premier international manufacturer of power T&D equipment. You will lead Field Service Engineers in the maintenance and servicing of T&D substation equipment. A strong technical background in GCB’s, GIS, & GMCB’s is required. You must have experience in servicing multiple manufacturer’s equipment. You will oversee the field service business and personnel, which will include: scheduling of resources for the execution of on-site installation, commissioning, repair, testing, troubleshooting, and/or customer training. Drive field service for Utilities, O&G, Industrial and EPC’s. Maintain the department to a standard required by Federal/State regulations and the customers’ contractual requirements to remain within compliance. Additional responsibilities include: preparing detail work instructions, entering orders, invoicing, training, hiring, equipment maintenance, equipment calibration, providing site specific training manuals, site specific COI’s, obtaining PO’s, providing quotes, providing QA feedback from the field, and forecasting/budgeting reports. This is a new position as a result of the company’s continued and exceptional growth. The candidate ideally will be based near Atlanta, GA, however, the opportunity to be remote based is open for an exceptional candidate.
